The Manual #49 - Changing perspective

Personal update: I’m now back in the UK and around Europe for the next two months. Will be nice to get away from summer heat in Dubai. I plan to do this quite often, regularly changing my environment, changing the people around me, and of course seeing new places. Dubai will remain my base.

Some thoughts, truths, and other random things:

• Changing perspective when it comes to money is important - instead of thinking of how to save, thoughts should shift to how can I build.

• Wealthy people see money as a tool to make their lives better.

• Overcoming addiction is a literal superpower.

• Delayed gratification is another superpower.

• Alcohol is a lot more dangerous than people let on. More people are alcoholics than you realise.

• People become can become uglier or more beautiful over time as you get to know them - and I’m not talking about their looks.

• Easy to have excuses. Hard to overcome them. Easier when neither of them matter anymore.

• Don’t tolerate late people. They lack respect.

• When you keep doing hard things, those hard things end up becoming easy.

• Most people expect you to fail, and think you’re crazy. But it all it takes is one time for it work out, now they think you’re a genius.

I’m selling one of my businesses

Now that I’ve moved to Dubai and want a bit more freedom in my life, I’m selling my physical e-commerce store.

It’s made over $2.6m since I started it. And I feel like it needs someone with more experience and time to build it further.
