The One-Person-Framework/Business is something I’ve loved and had been doing for years before hiring any full time employees.
The idea is to have a business or start something that can be primarily operated and run by you. Coming up with something scalable and can make you a great income.
I started doing this at the beginning. Making and selling digital products, selling services to clients and even running my YouTube channel. All of this was done by myself with no external help. Not even freelancers.
This is how everyone should start if you don’t have capital or resources. It’s much slower. But not everyone has a lot of resources at the beginning. I didn’t. You have to start somewhere.
Don’t fall in to the trap that you need tons of employees to have a successful business. The aim should actually be to have the least amount of employees with the most amount of income. Managing employees is not fun. You should only hire when absolutely necessary — usually when there’s so much work that it impacts other parts of your life.
My most scalable one-person-businesses have been:
Client work — charging on a project basis rather than hourly
Selling digital products
Creating an audience

A collection of links to stuff I think are worth sharing.
Dot — A personal AI assistant. This has seriously blown my mind. It’s the best one I’ve come across so far. It really feels like someone is there. I’m very bullish on stuff like this now.
tinyPod — Pretty cool way to turn an Apple Watch into a sort of iPod. Not sure how useful it is but I’m going to try and get one to test out.
NotchNook — Incredible app that turns the notch on your Mac into a more useful area. Feel like this is something Apple themselves would do.
Kingdom Rush 5 — My favourite tower defence series of all time has a new instalment. Looking forward to smashing this out whilst on vacation.
Kino — My new video camera app for iPhone. I used to use the Blackmagic app, but Kino is much more user friendly. The UI is much easier to use if you just want to shoot stuff without messing around with a ton of settings.
Meller — Was looking for some stylish sunglasses but didn’t want to break the bank as I don’t want to be upset at losing or breaking $200 sunglasses. These are incredible. Premium design and quality without the premium price tag.
Grams28 — Their bags and slings in particular are just incredible. Designer quality without the designer price tag. Still not cheap though.
Love this, always an inspiration bro!
