I wanted to use this post to share some answers to your questions from instagram.
Is it possible to make money online from anywhere, or do you have to be in a first world country?
The internet has literally made it possible to make money from anywhere, regardless of what country you’re from. And it blows my mind every day how many more things are possible because of the internet. You can change your life from learning a new skill and either selling that skill as a service or making a product people want.
How to scale a small business? Multiple past attempts have failed.
It means those businesses weren’t good enough. Keep trying until something does work.
Thoughts on investing in property or investing in a portfolio?
If you don’t have much money at the beginning, start with investing in something simple like S&P 500. Once you increase your income, invest in both. I do.
What would be the best investment to look out for in this era in your early 20s?
Yourself. Always be investing in yourself. Work out how you can level up. Learn a new skill. Start something new. Be obsessed. Be resilient. Increase your income. This is all stuff you can control.
Investing in stocks, crypto, property or anything else that’s out of your control are risks you can take later in life when you have disposable income.
High income skills for 2024
An update of my most popular video last year on the Oliur Online channel.
EDC 2024
20 minutes of me going in depth on the things I carry with me. Didn’t realise it would be this long but it was worth it.
Link Lowdown
A collection of links to stuff I think are worth sharing.
Amie — New productivity tool that combines, calendar and to do list in one. Very well designed.
Darksideofthewatch — If you’re into watches, this artist makes some incredible prints.
Losing my son — Heartbreaking story of a man losing his son.
Apple Vision Pro Review — Incredible review from The Verge. I’m eager to try it but also expect that it won’t be used that much. Large headsets like this are just a bit too much work.
Viso — A minimal image viewer for Mac.
Stats — Mac menu bar app that can give you quick stats.
BatFi — A battery management app. Don’t think Mac needs this as it’s already pretty intelligent, but if you do want to do it yourself and have more control, it looks awesome.
MediaMate — Neat visualiser replacement for media, volume and brightness.
Would you recommend Avie over Notion, now Notion also has an integrated Calender feature?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Love your content. Really impressive
