Life is all about negotiating and compromising, so that both parties get to a place where they feel happy with the decision. If you’re unhappy with a decision, either you didn’t negotiate well enough or your demands were too ridiculous.
Negotiating also lets people know you’re not going to go down easily.

I’ve been looking for an affordable way to have a super compact external SSD that also delivers thunderbolt speed. Let me tell you, it’s hard to find and very expensive to do.
With the Black Friday sales I was able to pick up an external SSD thunderbolt enclosure and a 4TB NVME SSD at a pretty low price. Effectively coming in at half the cost.
And boy is it quick! Transferring files is rapid but the main reason I bought it was to edit my Final Cut Pro projects on it. I’m getting read and write speeds of nearly 3000MB/s.

I like the analogy of every decision being a negotiation. On a daily basis I see it in terms of how much time I'm willing to put in a piece of writing or other form of content. Then I consider the 80/20-rule and try to draw the line somewhere.
