The Manual #40 - Be a lion
This email is a couple of days late. Reason being, I spent Friday to Sunday in the South of France.
I drove up and down the French Rivieria. I stayed primarily in Saint Tropez. I sat by the pool for hours just mindlessly browsing TikTok, Reddit and Instagram. I swam in the pool too. I ate a lot of great food. I saw some cool places.
Some random thoughts I had whilst having a few days away:
Leisure is so much more rewarding when it feels earned.
Relaxing is as important as being productive.
Thinking about other things than work enables you to sprint.
Being creative is like being a lion. Good amounts of rest. Sprint for the kill when it feels right.
Little bits of luxury can make you realise how lucky you are.

Upcoming content for the new iPhone 15 Pro — reviews, camera settings, best cases
I hired a new person I’m calling The General. I’ve needed a person to help me with the everyday running of my businesses. As well bring new ideas and processes. Will be interesting to see how this unfolds over the next few months.
A new product based website that will be curating cool and interesting tech and gear.
I shut down ultralinx.com a few months ago. I’ll be turning it into some sort of agency website. Not sure when it’ll be ready but there’s no rush.
How much I earn from YouTube
I shared a video on my income from my Oliur Online channel. With Adsense and sponsors, this channel is pretty much generating $100k a year. Which is pretty wild.
What’s even more crazy is how this channel makes money indirectly.
It supports and builds my personal brand
