I shared a video on the Oliur Online channel called Wealthy People Mindset - Think Like The Rich — a video which has done well and seems like many enjoyed. I want to expand on it.
Investing in resources that will benefit them in the long run but at the same time not being too hung up on it if fails, they know they tried, and what to do next to limit failure.
Trust and respect is valued more than most things. They want people around them they can rely on.
The world is an unfair place but they don’t act as a victim. They simply do everything they can to sway things in their favour.
Jealousy and envy don’t exist. When someone is doing well, they praise them and ask how they can achieve the same.
Competition is healthy and is used to make one better.
They leverage the knowledge of others rather than acting like they know everything.
Logic > emotion. They know emotions can be controlled and make logical decisions over emotional ones.
Retirement doesn’t seem to be an end goal. Most wealthy people take it a bit easier but still love doing what they’re doing purely because they’re passionate about it.
Long term commitments usually result in long-term earnings.
New Module - Monetisation
I’ve added a new module to videocreatorcourse.com covering monetisation. I’ve made over a $1m from YouTube, video content, sponsorships, digital products and everything else that comes with it. I know this has been a highly requested module and I expect to add more to it as I receive feedback.
Link Lowdown
A collection of links to stuff I think are worth sharing.
Liinks.co — Recently made the switch to this for quick links on places like Insta and TikTok.
Alex Hormozi x My First Million — Enjoying a lot of the content Alex has been coming out with recently. Interesting to hear from someone going from millions to billion.
Cosmos.so — New Pinterest alternative for creatives.
$1 invested in food stamps for children under 5 yields a societal benefit worth $62 — Incredible revelation for how much food stamps can do. I was one of those kids. My parents didn’t earn enough so I qualified for free school lunches. Comments on this post are a good read.
Haptic — Simple and minimal action-based journal.
Klack — A neat little app that will give you audible feedback when hitting keys on your keyboard.
Little Snitch Mini — Monitor all of the network traffic on your machine.
Paste 4.0 — Incredible app that I briefly forgot about. Has been recently updated and it’s more awesome than I remember.
